for using the e-Parts Source classifieds
Below are some
tips you can utilize when using our classifieds. They not only will
help you find our way though our classifies better, they will also
make use of all the tools it has to offer.

- Need
Help? - Each section of the classifieds has an online
Help
manual you can view if you need some type of help.
- Bold
and Red Your Ad - Make your "headlines"
ad stand out. Choose one of the Visibility
options that will give your ad that added edge. You
can choose either "Bold" your ad or
"Bold and Red"
your ad. Both are excellent cost effective options.
- Priority
Options - A VERY cost effective option that you
can add to your ad is our Priority
options . This will place your ad ahead of other ads
in users searches. You can add the above options even
if you ad is already posted. Simply Edit
Your Ad, then add them on the modification form.
- Use
the "Your Checklist" feature - Be sure
and use the "Your Checklist" to your advantage.
If you find a car, part, or motorcycle you are interested
in, be sure and put it on your checklist. Each ad has
the checklist box on it. Each e-Parts Source page has
the My
Checklist link. You can find a graphic for easy
use on the upper left hand of all pages.
- Quick
Edit/Renewal - For quick editing, you can always
save your own ads to "Your Checklist",
this way, you can quickly edit/renew them or modify
them.
- HOT
TIP! - Put Classifieds on your site! - If
you have your own website, you can join our classifieds
affiliate program, this way, you can have the actual
classifieds right on your site. No need to come back
to e-Parts Source everytime. All ads will post "real
time" right there on your site. Create the classifieds
program to have your website's look. More info here.
- Photo
Ads Sell! - Be sure and place at least one photo
(you're allowed up to 6) with your ad, this will give
you and added advantage, since the visitor will at least
get an idea of what your item looks like. After all,
"Photo Ads Sell".

Advanced Search Option - You can also use the
"Advanced Search" (each category has it's
own advanced search). If you use this option to view
ads, you have the capability of bringing up the "full
ads". You can also choose how many you would like
to come up at once. You can also narrow it down to just
show ads with photos.
- Photos
not sized correctly? - If you can't figure out how
to get your photos re-sized to upload to the classifieds,
we have some photo
editing tips that might help you out, or provide
photo editing
services, in which we will do the editing and the
uploading for you.

Tips
for Buyers
|
- Search
Engine - Use any one of our powerfull search engines!
Each section has their own "Advanced Search Engine"
and also a "Power Search" enigne that you
can utilize to narrow down your searches. There is also
a keyword search engine you can use to search all the
categories at one, or search a specific category.
- Browse
Ads - If you "Browse the Ads", this will
bring up all ads in order by the way they were placed,
starting with the most recent, or unless they have chose
a "Priority" Option, in this case, it will
come up on top of the ads.
- Auto-Notify
- Can't find exactly what you want? Then be sure and
register with our Auto-Notify
service. You determine key words, so when user post
an ad using these key words, you will "Auto"matially
be "Notified" about this partucular ad. Best
of all, it's free!
- Direct
Contact - If you would like for someone interested
in your item to contact you directly by email, you will
need to place your email address in the description
of your ad stating that they can contact your directly.
We use the personal inbox feature to keep spammers from
getting your email address. So it is up to you if you
would like to display your email address.
- View
Full Ads at one time - Want to see full ads all
at one time? Go to the category of choice, click on
"Advanced Search", then on the Advanced search
page, scroll down and click "Full Ads" on
the "Results Forma" field, then click on the
search button. You can also determine how many full
ads you can view at once (from 10 to 200) and also which
field you would like the results sorted by.
- HOT
TIP! -Photos Ads Only - Want to see ads with
photos only? You can use the "Advanced Search"
engine located in a specific section to see only ads
with photos. On the Advanced search form, simply choose
a category, then "check" the "Photo Ads
Only?", then click on "Search."

- View
All Ads by this User - You will find this link on
the lower portion of each ad in our classifieds. If
you found a user that you are interested in what they
have for sale, yu can also check to see if they have
anything else listed in our classifieds by clicking
on this link.
