Fuel Tank Auxillary and Tool Box Combo -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We just spent our life savings on a nice used 2007 Silverado 3500 crew-cab diesel dually so we can pull our horse trailer and carry our in-bed Lance camper. However, the truck came with an auxillary 50-gal. diesel fuel tank-toolbox combo that sits in the front of the pickup bed (Aluminum Diamond Plate sytle, TFI, www.transferflow.com). It looks sharp and works perfectly; it has its own electronics and digital indicator that automatically transfers fuel as well as shows you the status of each tank. The controller is is the more advanced TRAXII. The current web price for the tank is $1,703.53 but that is new. The user's manual is also on the web. Please forward this to anyone with a longbed pickup--it would be particularly useful for someone who pulls a fifth wheel camper or horse trailer, since its height is just under the top of the bed. TFI in Chico can install it, as well as other qualified installers http://www.transferflow.com/fuel_tank_installers.html --I contacted them and have removed it easily but I suggest you have them or a qualified person install it. Since we cannot use it with the camper, we want it to go to a good home at a much reduced price. In fact any offer will be considered.
